Most Holy Redeemer Little Lambs preschool offers a nurturing, Christ-centered environment for children ages 3, 4 & 5, laying a strong foundation for both academic success and spiritual growth. Our program makes use of several nationally acclaimed reading programs to foster early literacy and language skills. Through hands-on learning, creative play, arts and crafts, science activities, library time, gym, and our Buddies program, children develop essential skills while deepening their love for God and having fun.
Little Lambs is Fully licensed by MN Dept. of Human Services (DHS) and directed by a specialist in Early Childhood Education.

Early Literacy Program
Happily Ever After is a reading readiness program designed to give children the foundation they need to be successful when they begin formal reading instruction. It anchors instruction in classic stories from children’s literature.
The Heggerty Phonemic Awareness curriculum teaches eight phonemic awareness skills: rhyme, onset fluency, phoneme isolation, blending, segmenting, adding, deleting, and substituting. Additionally, letter names, sound recognition, and language awareness via nursery rhymes are taught.
The Handwriting without Tears program incorporates multisensory activities and materials to develop little hands. The program uses fun and interactive lessons to teach letter and number formation skills.
Faith Formation
Little Lambs preschoolers participate in our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) program once to twice a week. This Montessori-like program helps young children discover the beauty of silence, reflection, and listening to God. See our CGS program in action here!
