After many years of prayers and wishful thoughts, HRS will have a new heating system for this fall. The system, which has a price tag of $250,000, is being financed totally by donations. According to Principal George Vondracek, a group comprised of church trustees, school advisory board members, clergy, and members of the parish and finance councils gathered last spring and initiated a campaign to secure financial support for the large project.
While a new heating system isn’t very “flashy” and might not be mentioned in recruitment brochures as a reason to attend HRS, the project does reflect a sense of commitment and pride on the part of HRS and Most Holy Redeemer’s parish community. If you haven’t had a chance to give to this wonderful project, the school is still accepting donations. Please contact the school office.
